the terms,
in plain english
last updated 2026-08-27
this is the real agreement, just written the way we'd say it out loud. short version: upload things that are yours, don't use the results to con anybody, and credit you've spent is gone.
01what this is
larpszn takes a photo or a short clip that you upload and gives you back a version of it that looks more expensive — the same car in a better postcode, the same wrist wearing a better watch. That is the whole product.
Everything that comes back is generated by an AI model. It is not a photograph and it is not a record of anything that happened. It is made for entertainment. We say so in the app next to every result, on your account screen and in the footer, and we are saying it here because it is the single most important thing on this page.
These terms are the agreement between you and whoever operates larpszn.com (“we”). Using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not upload anything and do not buy any credit.
02who can use it
You have to be 18 or over. This is a paid service that generates images of people and their possessions, and we are not set up to handle a child's data or a minor's consent.
One account per person. The same email address always lands in the same account, so there is no legitimate reason to hold several — and making new accounts to farm a one-time signup discount is a breach of these terms.
03the photos you upload
You keep ownership of whatever you upload. You give us permission to send it to our model provider and to store it and the result so your library works — nothing more. We do not use your uploads to advertise, we do not train models on them, and we do not show them to anyone else.
By uploading something you are promising all of the following.
- It is yours to upload. You took it, or you own it, or you otherwise have the right to use it.
- Anybody recognisable in it has agreed. Do not upload another person's face or body without their clear permission. That includes your ex, a stranger, a celebrity and anyone whose photo you found online.
- Nobody in it is a child. No photos or clips of anyone under 18, in any context, ever.
- It is not sexual, violent or illegal, and uploading it does not break a law where you are or where we are.
We do not read through people's libraries, so in practice this is on you. Our model provider runs its own safety filters and will simply refuse some requests; a refusal is not a fault and, where nothing was billed to us, your credit comes straight back.
If we do become aware of an upload that breaks any of the above we will delete it and close the account, and where the law requires it we will report it.
04what you can and can't do with the results
The results are yours. Post them, print them, put them anywhere you like — the joke only works if you do.
What you must not do is use a generated image or clip to make anyone believe something untrue in a way that costs them something. Specifically, and this list is not exhaustive:
- no fraud or attempted fraud — no proof of assets, no proof of income, no collateral, no insurance claim, nothing sent to a bank, a lender, a landlord, an investor or a tax authority;
- no using it to talk somebody into a financial decision: an investment, a loan, a transfer, a purchase, a “mentorship” or a course;
- no impersonating a real person, a business or a public official, and no romance or friendship built on a generated life;
- no passing it off as journalism, evidence, or a real photograph in any context where being real matters;
- no reselling generations as a service of your own, and no automated or bulk use of the app.
Some platforms and some laws require synthetic media to be labelled as such. Where that applies to something you post, labelling it is your job — we cannot do it from here.
05bucks, and what you're buying
A new account gets a one-time 20% code for a single pack after a short questionnaire. Generating costs credit, and credit is bought in one-off top-ups from $5.99.
Credit is measured in bucks: an internal balance, shown with a dollar mark because it is easier to read that way. It is not money. It is a prepaid entitlement to use this app, and only this app. It cannot be transferred to another account, cashed out, sent to anyone else, or exchanged for anything outside larpszn.com.
- You pay in US dollars, by card, through Stripe.
- Credit appears in your account as soon as Stripe confirms the payment — that is the delivery, and it is immediate.
- Credit does not expire. Nothing renews. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
- A photo and a clip cost different amounts, a clip is priced by the second, and the exact number is on the screen before you spend anything. Current prices are on the pricing page.
We can change what a generation costs, or what a top-up buys, for future purchases. Credit already in your account keeps whatever it is worth at the time you spend it.
06cancelling, withdrawal and refunds
This is the part worth reading twice, because a top-up is digital content delivered on the spot.
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that right ends once delivery has begun, provided you asked for it to begin straight away and acknowledged that you were giving the right up. That is exactly what a top-up is: by buying credit you are asking us to deliver it immediately, and you accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as it lands in your account.
So, plainly:
- Spent credit is not refundable. The generation has already been run and already cost us money at our model provider.
- Unspent credit is not automatically refundable either, for the reason above — but if you top up and immediately change your mind, write to us and we will look at it. We would rather refund an untouched balance than argue about it.
- If you were charged twice, charged for something you did not buy, or paid and never received the credit, that is our mistake and we will put it right in full.
None of this affects rights you have by law that cannot be signed away. To ask about any of it, write to support@larpszn.com.
07when a generation fails
Sometimes it does not work. The model refuses the request, the clip is too long, our provider drops it, or the whole thing times out.
When a generation fails, the credit it reserved goes back to your balance automatically. You do not have to ask, and you will see it on the screen when it happens.
What we cannot refund is a result you simply do not like. The model is not deterministic and it is not always flattering — a generation that ran and produced an image has been delivered, even if it is not the one you pictured. Retaking the photo the way the app asks for it is by far the biggest thing under your control.
08your account, and when we'd close it
You can stop at any time. Delete individual results from your library whenever you like, or write to support@larpszn.com from your account address and we will delete the account and everything in it.
We can suspend or close an account, without notice, if it breaks the upload rules or the use rules above, if it is being used to defraud somebody, if it is minting accounts to farm signup discounts, or if we are required to by law.
An account closed for breaking these terms forfeits any remaining credit — otherwise the rules would be a price rather than a rule. If we close your account for our own reasons instead, we will refund whatever unspent credit is in it.
09what we don't promise
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults, and we do not promise any particular result from any particular photo.
Generation runs on a third-party model provider, WaveSpeed, and the models behind it. We do not control their availability, their safety filters, their pricing or their output, and any of those can change without warning. When they do, some things may get slower, some may start being refused, and prices may move for future purchases.
We may change, add or remove features — including individual upgrades — at any time, and we may stop offering the service altogether. If we shut it down, we will refund unspent credit.
10what we're liable for
You are responsible for what you upload and for what you do with what comes back. If somebody uses a generated image to mislead a person, a platform or an institution, that is on the person who sent it, not on the tool that drew it.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, reputational harm, or anything that follows from a result being used somewhere it should not have been. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the last 12 months.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
11changes to these terms
We can update these terms. The date at the top always says when they last changed, and the current version is the one that applies.
If a change materially reduces what you get for credit already in your account, we will tell you at the email address on the account before it takes effect, and you can ask for that unspent credit back instead.
12the law, and getting in touch
These terms are governed by the law of Slovakia, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer somewhere else in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country's consumer law and can bring a claim where you live — nothing above takes that away.
If some part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
Anything at all — support@larpszn.com. A real person reads it.
